Would you buy it

I have the opportunity to buy a 03 6.0l diesel with 200,000 miles

I have run the vin and it was built Dec 02 and has had all recalls done and has not been back for any problems (head gasket, injectors, egr valve) etc.

It is a fleet vehicle. What would you do?

Opinions

Thanks

200K is a lot of miles. I would only pay a very low price.

Verify the maintaince records, inspect it for oil leaks and coolant stains around the degas bottle. If all checks out, buy it. Alot of super early build date 6.0's are bulletproof.

Yep, the maintenance has been done on schedule, no leaks, icp was replaced in 05 but that is it.

I have been reading and it seems that trucks built in late 2002 don't have many problems for some reason.
