XCAL2 issue

While trying to help a buddy load his new tunes to his truck, we got an error, now when we try and load a tune the dash says "TBC FAULT"

And it will not let us load a tune.

Any thoughts on that?

Using:
XCAL2
Tunes provided by ID
using current Live Load software

I have an XCAL2 and tunes by ID and never experinced this problem

Any help is appreciated.

JP

Re: XCAL2 issue

I would check all the fuses for the trailer brake contoller TBC. If they are all good then i would try pulling them and see what happens.

Re: XCAL2 issue

one thing that concerns me is that the xcal didn't seem to pull off the stock program before attemting to load the tune...it just said, uploading program.

Then it errored out.
