'02 Powerstroke 7.3L blowing oil out of dipstick and blue exhaust smoke

This 2002 has 230K miles and has a small loss of power. The blue smoke and power loss were mostly simultaneous occurrences, about 2k miles ago. The oil/vapors coming from the oil dipstick have just appeared recently. It idles rough but will smooth out after warm up at rpm above idle. Of course, it will run rough again at idle...even after long haul. Now folks, I am desperate to "FIGGER" this out. Very annoying and the blue smoke LOOKS BAD too! Any ideas?

Is it using oil? My suspicion is you've torn an injector o-ring. That allows oil to mix with the fuel. You say blowing oil out the dipstick? Blow by on a diesel is normal. High compression and no positive crankcase ventilation. What you don't want to see is a puffing blow by strong enough to blow the oil cap off if you lay it upside down on the filler neck. If you are pressuring the crankcase enough to blow oil out the dipstick, you must have an obstruction in the passive crankcase vent (doghouse) in the driver's side valve cover or the tubing.
