2000 f250 super duty skip when cold.
Friend of mine owns the truck.
I am ASE cert. master tech, but have about zero experience with power strokes.
All my experience is with my 2 IDI's
305k miles and everything appears to be bone stock.
Engine fires right up after the wait to start light goes out.
There is a dead miss while running cold.
No smoke
Will clear it self after driving about a mile and be fine for the rest of the day.
NO codes.
The truck appears to be pretty well maintained except the cooling system that is full of rust.
Not getting any indication of coolant getting into the combustion chambers other than the miss.
I have run a bottle of diesel clean threw the fuel at 1/2 a tank and the low fuel light has just come on at this point.
I have done a search here but haven't found anything with these symptoms.
Any help will much appreciated.
