2001 4WD won't start

First timer so here goes. The probem is my 2001 F-250 wont start. It has been in my driveway for because I have not needed to drive it. It ran fine before. Had a real heavey rain this morning. Got in it this afternoon and it cranked fine but would not start. I thought the batteries were good but after reading these forum post I have decided to remove them and have a load check done on both of them. I have also decide to replace the Cam Position Switch (CPS)and get a spare. I had not change the fuel filer in a while and I did that this evening, did not help. Does anyone have any other suggestions. I have a superchip diagnostic tuner that came with the programmer and thought I would run it in the morning. I am just looking for WISDOM.

When you had your batteries checked did you charge them really good?

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Re: 2001 4WD won't start

Have not done that yet, this all just started last night. To answer your question though although the truck seems to be cranking with plenty of power the batteries are about 3 years old.
