4R100 AE Test / Shift Points

Ok. I took the truck out for a spin to check the shift points and TC lock up.

While the trans seems to shift fine I was surprised by the data. SS1 and SS2 solenoids cross over and when it shifts to third SS2 flips the bit to "0" but SS3 stays at "0". I expected the TC to lock up in 3rd, but the TC did not lockup until OD. I was under heavy throttle during this run. Sorry I for got to record the MPH.

I'm just wondering whether I should just bite the bullet and change the trans before camping season starts.

Thanks, M
