Anybody know the total cooling capacity (including radiator, hoses, etc) of a 2002 7.3?

8 gallons

If your doing a flush, make sure you do NOT "Pre mix" it, pour in 4 gallons of straight AF, then top off with the distilled. (That way all the distilled left in the block, will make up the rest of your 50% mix.)

Re: 7.3 Liter Coolant Capacity

My owners manual says 32.75 quarts. I am going to change coolant soon and plan on putting in 4.5 gallons of concentrate and topping off with distilled water as prefer slightly more then 50/50 mix.
I suppose the aftermarket coolant filter assembly has a small amount of capacity too.

The capacity is 8.2 gallons, with 4.1 gallons of concentrate giving a 50/50 mixture and 4.9 gallons giving a 60/40 mix. I went with 4.5 gallons of concentrate as it was easier to measure out and left me with enough to make a gallon of 50/50 mix.
