re: 7.3L cylinder number order.

hey thanks deputydog, well my friend was runnin the scanner at the time but i did see where those injectors were coming up as the problem. i just got the truck runnin from a low oil no start problem and we were checking pressures and he scrolled the scanner and picked up these inj.'s. wanna mark them for when i get them tested. btw.. this is the order for 2000 7.3 powerstroke? thanks again deputy.

re: 7.3L cylinder number order.

This is the order for any 7.3 powerstroke ..

Its unlikely all those injectors are bad (but certainly possible too). UVC harness could be an issue too, just something else to check out. Gimme a shout if it turns out to be injectors.

re: 7.3L cylinder number order.

Ya sounds good.. Just make sure the one that has "LL" on the top of it goes back into #8 hole ..

I would change out my glow plugs too, they are cheap and you generally have to remove them anyway to purge the oil out of the cylinders .. Just my .02 !

I took my 2000 f250 7.3 to have the glow plugs replaced. The truck has 360k miles . It ran perfect when I dropped it off at the shop. They replaced the glow plugs I picked the truck up and ran like crap. I pulled back into the shop and another 5 hours the tell me my #2 injector is stuck. Is this possible is the shop trying to pull a fast one? They said a "buzz test " was done and the connection was good. I think is BS..........any ones thoughts

Possible loose harness or the used a bad aftermarket ovc harness. I'd remove valve covers check connection and while there 50 cent mod it
