Re: #8 injector po284 cylinder contribution
As number 8 is the hole they put the long lead injector in to help with the cackle issue you have to be carefull about changing it out when it fails a contribution test because they will fail even if it is good. If the injector was changed over to a long lead but the calibration was not changed it will log the code. Also aftermarket scanners will log as it failing. You must have a very noticeable miss and hear that #8 did not make a change in the tone of the engine.
