Alternator , starter and battery cable size

Does anyone know what size of cable/ wire these are? They look to be really thick (2/0 or 3/0) going to the starter. I am wanting to move my batteries to the passenger side frame and install an extra battery on the passenger side where the stock battery used to be for misc. items (inverter, stereo, fuse blocks and ect...), so not to drain my starting batteries. I aquired about 50ft of 2/0 tinned battery cable and now after looking at it, the stock cables actually look thicker but not sure. I figure the new location for the stock batteries will add maybe 4-5ft to the battery cables. I just want to make sure the 2/0 will be thick enough so not to lose anymore volts than the normal loss with the added length. Maybe the stock cables just have a thicker cover.

Re: Alternator , starter and battery cable size

Ok, I figured Ford_forgotton, LarryM or Fordmastermech would know this for sure.
