Another HPOP leak.

Ok this HPOP has got me a my witts end. Lets recap. I replaced the Orings, the oring on the Non-serviceable plug and the flange gasket on the front of the pump and I still have a leak originating in the valley from the front of the motor. I think I've replaced every gasket or oring that i can think of and the snap ring is dry, so I am lost anybody have any ideas or am I just in for constant oil change?

The ipr is dry. Thats what i mean i feel i've checked everything that could result in a leak and I'm totally lost. But thanks for the input.

Not sure if this is going to be any help, but I kept having your problems about a year ago. The O-ring on the rear plug wouldn't hold. Turns out the threads on the pump were FUBAR and kept blowing the o-ring. I had to take the pump off and have new threads cut. The biggest pain was making sure I had the pump flushed good so there were no filings in the pump.

I had a similar issue. I replaced all of the components that you described and I still had, what I thought, was a slight oil leak. It turns out that my fuel line that runs along the passenger side cylinder head (from the fuel bowl to the back of the passenger side head) had a hole in it. The hole was due to one of the rubber coated clamps that is used to hold the line. The rubber had worn off and rubbed a hole in my fuel line. The fuel was seeping through the weak spot in the line, pooling in the intake area, and eventually leaking onto the ground. By the time it hit the ground it looked just like oil. Good luck!
