I got a bit of the same prob. Guy who built mine isn't around anymore. I think low stall rpm works better than OE stall rpm if you tow a lot.
Sometimes I think that the trans is a bit at fault for being tired. Putting in a new NADP unit next year or sooner.
Everyone raves about precision industries converter but it's a lotta money... paying for the name. Can get other good triple clutch units for half that.
Over-revving and not upshifting seems more trans prob than converter but just guessing.
