Best torque converter on the market???

Looking to upgrade my tranny a little bit and wondering about torque converters? I am also more than likely going to add the Sonnax/tricum springs too....

Re: Best torque converter on the market???

Suncoast is my personal favorite. However, there is ATS, Precision Industries and I'm sure someone else will chime in with another.

I like Suncoast since they started the revolution of bigger, badder TCs. Their warranty is excellent, the service is wonderful. The kicker for me was this; if and when you blow your tranny, they will give you credit for your TC when you purchase an entire tranny from them.

Good luck

Re: Best torque converter on the market???

The best is not cheap. I understand a Precision Industries' Stallion torque converter is the best, but it's more than $1,000 U.S.

Re: Best torque converter on the market???

Another vote for Suncoast. I have single disc TC that has worked like a champ for 6ok+ with lots of towing and hard pulling. I have their tranny as well and really like the way it shifts and works.
