Brake Question

Anyone dealt with Just Brakes? They have the best price I've found to replace both front and rear pads. 109.95 for both. The dealer wanted 560.00 for both.

Re: Brake Question

Just say no!
When they get through with you it will be at least five to six hundred dollars unless you stay there and absolutely insist on only letting them change pads. My wife had her Crown Vic done there once. They took the wheels off and the price went up and up. It'll be you need special pads, new rotors, new calipers, etc...I redid the entire job 3 months later with new roters and rebuilt calipers to get the brakes right again.
The $100 job is with the cheapest junk on the market and is not what you want to stop this truck and load.
You get what you pay for!

Re: Brake Question

Ask around, try to find a decent, independent shop.

Re: Brake Question

I have to agree with "2x6 Bulldog". I've never known anyone to get out for that price. They always add on to their price. Approach with caution.
