Broken zerk fitting on my front u-joint?

I was doing my normal maintenance the other day and I was adding some grease to my front u-joint and when I took off the grease gun, to my horror, I found the zerk fitting still in it. Since then, I have tried several easy outs with no luck (then bottom out before grabbing on) and then I have broke 3 drill bits. Has this happend to anyone? If so, how did you get the zerk out? Seems like it's super tuff steal.

Re: Broken zerk fitting on my front u-joint?

Time for a new u-joint. The fronts are pretty easy to replace.
Weird that your front u-joints have zerks. It must not be original equipment?
