buzzing noise

hey i got a qusetion on the front of the turbo there is a couple of connectors one is electrical and one looks to be vacum anyways when you first start and waiting for glow plug light to go off you hear a buzzing noise is this normal. its a 2000 psd with edge w/a

Probably your vacuum pump on the passenger side fender.

no this is right in front of the turbo its green piece of plastic and you can feel it vibrating when its buzzing.

That sounds like the wastegate control solenoid. I've never noticed it buzzing before, but for all I know that maybe normal. I can't hear anything over my fuel pump.

Have you gotten an SES light or anything else that would suggest something in the wastegate control system system is failing, or is it just the buzz that's bothering you?

no i just never have noticed it before until i was changing the gpr and heard it, so its probally normal. was just curios thanks.
