Has anyone came up with a solution to the crappy clip that ford uses on the clutch master cylinder pushrod? I tried searching and came up with nothing. I need a fix i have a ton of slop in the clutch pedal. Help me out thanks

hers the best solution. if you go & buy a reman. clutch slave cyl. take it off & if you have a vice then put it in the vise & hold the rod outward while taking a very small screwdriver & release the 3 small clips inside the piston bore & it will pull apart. that if the hole in the rod where it attaches to the pedal isn't worn bad. you know you can get the whole kit w/ everything attached except the rod where you don't have to bother w/ bleeding it.its not that bad releasing the rod, just have to fight it a little. tilt the rod sideways while releasing them one at a time while you roll it around till it releases.
