Question Early '99 Engine Wiring Harness Part Number

Does anyone have the Ford or International part number for the main engine wiring harness for an early '99 Power Stroke? This is the 42-pin harness connecting to the engine sensors and valve cover gaskets. I've tried site and Google searches with no avail. Thank you!

Cheers from Claremore, OK!
Dave

Early '99 engine Wiring Harness Part Number

Is this the one you're looking for? ( See Attached )

If so, it's an "Engine Control Sensor Harness" Part # XC3Z-12A581-YYA.

Now the bad news. Ford has discontinued this harness and I've been looking for one for 8 months with absolutely no luck.

If this is what you need let's work together to see if they can be found.

Here is the link to my thread:

I did a quicky search and didn't come up with much for you, Dave.

I think you could use a 99.5 or later harness and just not connect the extra stuff like the IAH Relay. Everything else should be pretty much the same. You'll need to match yours for other features like AC/No AC, Dual/Single alternators, and probably something else that I can't think of right now.

Unless yours is totally burnt up, repairing it might be the better route as opposed to finding a new replacement. Have you tried the wrecking yards (although they are usually reluctant to sell engine harnesses)?

The PN sticker should be right behind the alternator near the lifting eye, if the sticker is still there.

Mine is 1807461C91 Rev 87694X1 AFL. No AC, & single alternator. Build date 1/99 so what you're looking for should be one of the three prior to that number in this list.

BTW, this came from your old FAQ downloads here: http://www.thedieselstop.com/faq/949...nterchange.pdf

Hope that helps.
