well, I found time to check the armature plate clearance on 1 and 3, and niether of them would let me shove a .0015 gauge under them. When I did the contribution test last weekend, I found #1 to be the best sounding injector as I disconnected each one.
So now we are one to newer and brighter horizons, now knowing the problem with this gutless pos, and must now pose a new question.
will rebuilding them with a kit from say, DIY-Injectors bring them back to life, or am I looking at the more costly alternative of buying 8 new ones?
By the way, thank you KLHanson for getting me steered in the right direction
