Fuel filter?

Do I have a fuel filter on frame rail besides 1 on on engine?

A 7.3 only has one fuel filter. I suggest you only buy Motorcraft or Racor. Anything else is a copy.

2002 F-250 CCLB 4x4 XLT, 7.3, ZF-6 with Midwest Short-throw shifter, ESOF, 3.73 R&P, HPx line, FRx, Racor prefilter before pump, Amsoil bypass filter, Coolant filter too

2000 7.3 Extended Cab Long Bed Lariat...

nothing crazy, it carries alot of weight, it tows alot.. has all the 'usual' upgrades plus some..

she breaths well, has extra air and fuel

I use Wix filters all the way around on my truck.

2001 F-250, 4X4, SWB, 7.3L, Crew Cab, MBRP 4" exhaust, Tymar intake, Swamps 175/146 injectors, Driven Diesel Regulated Fuel Return, Hydra Chip, BTS tranny, 6.0L tranny cooler, RedHead steering box, Plenum inserts, RiffRaff upgraded clamps for intercooler boots, CCV bypass from RiffRaff, boots from RiffRaff, Ride Rite Air Bags.

1996 F-250, 4x4, SWB, 7.3L, Supercab, Tymar, AFE Big Bore 4" exhaust with 3"-4" DP, Swamps 150/146, TS performance 6 pos chip, Terminator T500 HPOP, Beans D66 Turbo, HPX Crossover, EBPV gutted and shimmed FPR, Carr Hoop Steps, Cab Lights, Limited Slip 4.10 rear end.

Last time I looked at a Wix or NAPA fuel filter for my 7.3, it did not have the exterior filter media that Racor PFF4596 or Motorcraft FD4596 did. The NAPA Gold 3518 may have it too.

No filter (oil or fuel) I've researched shows better performance specs than the OEM filters from Motorcraft and Racor.
