Fuel in oil - Diesel Forum

New neighbor has 99 F250 w /7.3 PSD. He dosen't know, its his first d. & same for me. We're wondering if fuel get's into oil from lots of idleing/short trips where e. dosent' really get warmed up. etc.
Read about this on 6L bd. but what about 7.3?

[/ QUOTE ] Well,,what your describing from the idleing,,is called "Wet Stacking" And some think its an issue... the short trips... well not really I dont think it is any harder on our motors than it is on ANY motor,,,short runs,,and lots of starting and stopping,,,( brake and ignition wise..) Is no good on any cars motor....
