The main sensor that affects fuel timing is the Engine Oil Temp (EOT)sensor. I believe it's mainly for starting, advancing timing when engine oil is cold, then backing off as it warms up.
Barometric Pressure sensor (BARO) also affects engine timing, although I don't know how it affects it. Probably advances timing at higher altitude, but that's just a guess.
The CPS only tells the PCM where TDC is, but I suppose you could say that the CPS affects timing.
