glow plug / injector harness

anyone have any pics of where the harness plug goes bad can't get readings on 1st 2nd and 4th on drivers side

So cylinder 2-4 & 8 are bad. They usually go bad under the valve cover. The good news is the drivers side is the easier one to pull. Remove the CAC tube, air cleaner intake ect... Pull the CCV filter off. (Two Phillips screws) and remove the 13mm bolts. (You'll need shallow and deep wall, and a swivel and short extention.) After you remove it, look at all the harness underneath. Probably cracked, and some burnt pins on the harness. INSPECT the valve cover gasket. If the pins look good, and it ohms fine, no problem. If there are burnt pins, it'll need replaced. To the tune of 60.00 or more for each one.

it was unplugged latch is a poor design should i take the right side apart or wait

Do it when you can as soon as you can. i.e. nice weather day if you have to do it outside etc. If you catch it (and secure the harness) before it has a chance to burn the pins you are money ahead/saved!

used the ford fix 3 little pieces of plastic worked great even made a click when putting it together hope this helps someone
