Grrrrrrrr... Bad GPR AGAIN!!!!!!!

Are there any options for a GPR relay other than the crap that Ford sells? I have a 2002 F250 PS and have already replaced the GPR two times over 160k miles.

Any ideas for a better relay?

Did some searching on this site. I just ordered two of these:
Relay, Western 56131K, 1306310, SAM Aftermarket Replacement Parts

I need to install a small LED on my gauge tree to let me know if the GPR is good or not.

The GPR from International is the same part, just not in the expensive Motorcraft box. I have been thru three IH GPR's in the past year. I just recently installed the Western snow plow part, so far so good. I installed a green led in my cubby mount guage pod last year. The led lights when the GPR is in use, it will surprise you how long the glow plugs are lit. It eliminates the guessing whether the GPR is working. A cheap, and easy mod.

For the "in cab GPR indicator" did you simply pull 12v from the large post of the GPR opposite the always hot large post?

Yes, that is the way I wired it. When the circuit is complete, the led will come on, the quick way to know the GPR is working. Murphys law, the GPR fails when it very cold, snowing, raining etc. My voltmeter is also a good reference, but the pilot lamp is the quickest answer.
