help on rear end fluid change

I got a new aluminum cover for the front and rear axles and need some help on changing them. I tried doing a search but did not find what I was looking for.
What type of fluid and what weight? (I usually prefer synthetic)
What type of friction modifier?
What is the stock capacity? (even though my new covers are bigger) so I know how much to buy?
Any other suggestions besides cleaning it good and adding the proper fluids?

Thanks

Re: help on rear end fluid change

Front diff... about 2 liters of 80W90 (though 75W140 wont hurt). Rear diff would be about 3 liters of 75W140 along with friction modifier for the limited slip.

This is assuming that my mind reading abilities are still crisp and accurate.... If I'm mistaken, you may want to tell us a little about your truck...

THIS helped me a little.

Whoops...link is semi-fixed now.

It will probably take you to a slide pin upgrade, just go to the home page and you'll find what you need.

Re: help on rear end fluid change

Thanks grampy jim, you are a good mind reader. Not much to tell about the rear ends, stock driveline on a 99-up superduty.
