Guys, I must be completly blind. I have done searches, and have read the posts. But I still can not find the harness to disconnect this sticking valve. Someone draw me a map please.

Re: HELP unplugging ebpv

It's the only electrical connector on the turbo pedestal. It's almost dead center on the front, look at the center section of the turbo and then go straight down to the pedestal and there it is. With the intake spider in the way it's a little hard to see and get to.

Re: HELP unplugging ebpv

FWIW, the electrical plug is white in color and has a metal clip holding it on.

Or make it easy on yoruself and just disconnect the EBPV sensor located right behind the serpentine belt's top idler pully, front of engine.

The problem with doing that is on some trucks the SES light is triggered. Happened to my truck, that's how I know

Unplugging from the pedistal won't trigger the SES light, but will set a soft code. The code is simply stored in the PCM for retrieval, but nothing else.

I was thinkin' on doing this too. Any chance that someone has a picture of it? I'm a graphic artist so I like pictures. Just the way I'm wired. I got an idea which one but don't want to assume.
