horn randomly going off

i have a 99 superduty 7.3 crew cab 4x4 and have been having a ghost problem. it seems that every time i drive the truck while its raining that my horn will just go off wide open. it will not turn off unless i open my driver door. i guess it breaks the circuit? i assume its a ground issue. it only happens when the truck gets a lot of water under it. right now i have disconnected the horn fuse. any suggestions?

My buddy had this problem too, he took it in and they replaced a circuit board in the control box. The seal was bad and the board was corroded and had rust on it from rain getting in. I will talk to him tomorrow and find out exactly what was replaced

Probably the GEM, but if it's getting wet, make sure you inspect your W/S for leaks. Your PCM would be taking a shower with it. BAD juju.
