How Much $$$
The dealer diagnosed my truck with a bad High Pressure Oil Pump and ICP . The cost of replacment is such - $ 1000 for the pump $200 for the ICP and $660 for labor and the rest is fluids and tax = $2000 !!!!!!!
How hard or easy is it to replace the HPOP and ICP ? Ive found rebuilt pumps for $400 and the ICP for $180 and my labor is free . With diesel being $$$$ I cant afford $2000 right now .

That's crazy! I would get the parts myself and do it, it's not that difficult.

Ok , I will do it my self. What is the best sorce of info for how to install the HPOP and ICP ? I have a Chilton but it doesnt show much on the HPOP .
