My valve cover says 235 HP @ 2600 RPM. I see you have a stick shift. Some of the sticks had 275 HP but I can't remember when. It may have been the 01's. Did your truck come with a catalytic converter?

manioso is right.

chuckster57, I don't know where you got your numbers, but
"Rated Power: 210 hp @ 3000 rpm"
it's not a 2000 7.3L PSD in a pickup, which were rated at 235 HP @ 2,600 RPM and 500 lb/ft torque @ 1,600 RPM.

The PSD in an F-650 and F-750 were rated 210 HP, but only at 2,400 (automagic tranny) or 2,300 (stick shifters) RPM, with torque of 520 lb/ft @ 1,500 RPM.

Maybe your numbers were for one of the options for the similar 444 engine in an International truck? I know they had about 210 HP , but I didn't know they were high reving @ 3,000 RPM to get there.

"Late" 2001s, beginning with production about November 2000.

My Sierra Blanca in the sig pic was a great pickup for 11.5 years. I sold it a coupla years ago. I drove a hand-me-down 2003 F-150 SuperCrew 4.6L 2V for a while, but it was unacceptable for towing more than a rowboat. Replacement is a 2012 F-150 EcoBoost SuperCrew Lariat that tows my 5,000-pound TT like a dream.

No. 235 at the flywheel. Less at the rear wheels.

Yeah, I believe that should be 15 quarts with filter change. But i think the engine actually has a total of 18 quarts if you include the high pressure oil system.
