Idler pully & tension pully bearing part number

Hello,

Just thought I'd share this finding.

I needed to replace the bearings on the Idler pully and the tension pulleys - didn't want to pay Ford prices...so tried to get an equivalent to the Ford P/N: CG-425
Equiv. bearing NTN part number of 6203LU

Dimensions are:
40X17X12 mm

O.D=40
I.D=17

This is on a '99 7.3L.

I believe that my tensioner is physically clocked to one side. It actually does not look square when compared to the other pulleys. When I look down on it from the top of the engine, I can see a small sliver shaped gap between it and the block.

Does this tensioner mounting system go bad? or do just the bearings that the pulleys ride on fail?

Tensioner itself can fail. They wear at the bushing and the spring breaks.
