Interchange of 4R100 transmissions 99 - 03

Hey all:

I have a 2003 E350 with a 7.3 with a bad 4R100. (The tranny plate looks like 1C2P7000D)

I also have a 1999 E350 with a 7.3 that is deadlined and I am picking parts from it with a very low mileage 4R100 (The Reman plate F8UZ7000EARM)

The question is can I put the 99 tranny into the 03 vehicle. (I should probably specify that it needs to work, I know I can fit it in there <G>)

Thanks
Hank

If they are both 4x2 or both 4x4 it should work fine.
