Cool Less than .25 cent UVCH fix

There seemed to be some concern about loose change in the valvle cover with the valvetrain. Some have decided to use the zip tie method ( I didnt like the zip tie fit). Instead I made a plastic wedge. AE'd after clearing all codes and no more codes plus my cruise control works now.
Next up, lock actuators.

As you can see below I have a loose harness.

I meased the size I wanted with a set of dial calilers just about 1.130 inches long. Cut a piece of plastic from the lid of a blue storage bin I had my stock Evolution VIII turbo sitting in.

Good Job

You do know you can buy essentially the same fix from Ford or International for about $10 (for 3 little pieces of plastic), right?

Yes, but I know of no dealer/ IH parts supplier that is open at 10:30pm when I decide to pull the VC off just to have a "look see." Then theres the satisfaction I get from fabricating my own fix like McGiver

Fixed mine with a 1/2" long piece of 1/4"ID X 3/8"OD clear tubing, just slipped it under the locking arch. Been there for 5000 miles.
