My truck will not shut off when I turn the key off!!
I have a 03 7.3 PSD
So this morning I went out to install my Stancore glow plug relay. Once installed I turned the key on and ran around to see if I was getting any volts to the glow plug side and it also was reading 0 volts. I tried it once more with the same results. At that point I got in the truck and turned the key on and noticed the wait to start light only stayed on maybe 2 seconds at best. The temp is 55 deg. I then went to start it and it fired up. Well after a min or so I went to shut it off and nothing. It just kept running. All the gages shut off and the steering wheel locked but the truck kept going. I have a DP Tuner and that was on to. I turned the key back on and the oil pressure and all the other gages came back up. Turn the key off again and its still running. So to kill it I just put it in gear held the brake and let the clutch out. I couple of months ago I noticed that I could not turn the key back words to turn on the acc anymore so that tells me something is wrong in that aspect. Does anyone know what this could be??

Well if you can't turn it back to acc. then you definetely have a bad switch.
Since this happened after you replaced the glowplug relay I would also recheck your wiring to the relay. If you swapped a couple wires around it could be feeding voltage back to the rest of the system keeping it powered up when the key is off.

I disconnected the power from the relay and tried starting my truck. The wait to start light came on for its normal time and It started with no problem and more impotently it shut off when I turned the key off. So then I reconnected the power to the relay and turned the key on and the light came on like normal again and started up and I was able to turn it off. Then I checked the relay to see if it was getting power to the glow plug side and it now is. So does this sound more like a Ignition switch problem?
I had the same exact problem with my 2003 shortly after I replaced my original GPR with a cheapo Napa. Mine's an auto so I ended up having to pull a fuse (cant recall which off hand) every time I needed to shut it off. Didn't make sense to me that a GPR would do that so I had a local Diesel guy check it out. He looked around and couldn't find anything obvious. For giggles he replaced my cheapo Napa GPR with a Stancor and everything has been fine since then. No firm cause proven, but the truck shuts off and I now have a better GPR, so I guess it's all good.
