Need Help Asap

Have a 99 7.3 that is giving intermentant problems with wts light not comming on and check engine light not coming on and no start and then today was driving truck and it died and wouldent refire till after it was towed home and sat for about 3 hours it is throwing a code of P0603 pcm processor keep alive memory (kam) error dont know if that is the problem or not any help would be appriciated this truck is stock with 4in exhaust as the only mod and has 146xxx miles on it

When you turn it over when it wouldn't
start was the tach moving it could be the cps

i didnt look at the tach but would that cause the wait to start light and the check engine light not to come on at all

Check fuse # 30 to make sure it's not blown. Also check the main engine wiring harness (big harness with red striped tape over the drivers valve cover) to make sure you don't have any wires shorting against the valve cover below the 42 pin connector or wires behind the connector shorting against the metal bracket.

In the future, if the WTS ligth does not come on, don't waste the battery juice trying to start the truck. Just turn the key back off and see if the WTS light comes on next time. If the WTS light does not come on, the truck will probably not start.
