2000 F250 Powerstoke. I have replaced the batteries. I have replaced the starter. And I have replaced the solinoid switch. Still will not turn over. I have clicking sound at the starter when trying to start engine. Anyone have any ideas?

2001 F350 7.3 PSD SD CC DRW Lariat, 4R100 (replaced at 41k w/rebuilt by dealer), 3.73, FX4 ESOF, Long Box - 3rd CPS. CPS in Glove Box MOD. K&N Filter. 6.0 OTA Cooler. Green to Red Coolant. Water filter. 203º T-stat. Fumoto Valve. Monroe Gasmatic Shocks.
Cables look good. Ckd grounds, they look good. Nothing lose. Replaced starter yesterday, started right up,ran good. This morning started right up. Drove to work. Went to leave about 10am, wouldn't start. Just clicking at the starter. Only clicks 1 time when I turn the switch.

Are you sure the new parts are good ? I have found here lately that new does not mean good ...
Ain't that the truth about new parts, I have had my share of junk new parts in the past year or so.

Have it tested but I think the battery cable to the starter is junk.

I'm having a similar problem, wires look good, new relay, new batteries, but when I turn the key to the start position, get one click a fraction of a second of nothing and then it turns and starts. This is all without taking the key from the start position. Any thoughts????? When it did this to me the other day, the vacume pump did not come on. All the other lights and do dads functioned. Is it possibly a short in the ignition switch or "box" under the dash?
Even though the starter was tested twice and appeared ok, the truck left me stranded last night. Replaced the starter in the grocery store parking lot after just getting it oil undercoated with some loaned tools from Adavnaced. Propably could have gotten the starter cheaper elsewhere but they were within walking distance and were a big help. Problem solved!
