I'm wanting to replace the S shaped small hose that goes from the nipple on the overflow bottle to the top of the radiator. It seems to be one size at the bottle, and a larger size at the radiator. I searched and looked around at Rockauto for the hose, but no luck. Is it a Ford only part, or is there an easy solution. Thanks and Merry Christmas!
For the hose that comes out of the bottom of the reservoir, on Rockauto, look under Cooling System, then Coolant Tank Recover Hose. The part number is ACDELCO 18285L and it runs $18.55. The Ford part number is F81Z-8075-AA
For the small hose that comes from the side of the tank, Rockauto lists bulk 3/8" hose in that same spot or you can get the genuine Ford pre-bent hose (F81Z-8075-AB) for about $20 at Tousley or a little bit more on Amazon.
I would spend the 20 bucks. It will fit and you will get new clamps that fit the hose and won't crush the nipples.
