so if you are burning 5 gallons of oil an hour chances are you have an injector o-ring problem. thats what it ended up being in my truck. hope nobody has to go through what i did to figure that out.

THAT would explain it. HP oil being injected into the fuel rail.

Must have been a BAD o-ring.

Same deal I just went through on mine. I wasn't burning near the oil you were, but it was bad. A gallon in less than 1000 miles. I had one of the middle o-rings almost gone. The others seemed fine, but I've got all of the injectors out and will put them back tomorrow with new o-rings.
