put new seals in and still leaks. there is a trace of old 'yellow' o-ring could this be the source?? and how do get this out?

i found out that the leak is in fact coming from my pedistal where it bolts to engine. how do you get it to seal?? are the new o-ring really thick? or is there a trick?

No trick. Did you order new o-rings or just try to match diameters at the parts store?

Transmission Fluid Level
Transmission fluid level when cold is slightly in the "H" hatched area; when hot engine running in "park" no fluid is on the stick when wiped down and reinserted? Any help is appreciated. No problem with shifting.

my tranny is a 6sp manual NO DIPSTICK and besides found out it is pedistal.

diameter looked the same will order right ones as soon as i get paid anyone know where to get 'cheap' cartridge for the turbo? i am only going to change out the wheels and shaft for now.

WELL I FINNALY BROKE DOWN AND ORDERED THE RIGHT O-RINGS. SHOULD BE HERE BY WED. ORDERED FROM DIESEL ORING. ILL LET YOU ALL KNOW WHAT HAPPENS!!

THESE GUYS AT DIESEL ORINGS ARE REALLY ON THE BALL. NICE!! I GOT 1 SET IN AND I SEE THE DIFFERANCE. I NOTICED THAT THE PEDISTAL HAS A GAP WHEN IT IS JUST SITTING THERE. B4 IT WAS FLUSH. I SHOULD KNOW THURSDAY IF I WILL BE BACK IN BUSSINESS OR NOT.
