P0605

The truck is at the garage, they gave me a list of codes the truck threw - that one "ROM error" seems to be the worst of them. another is saying the #7 injector isn't firing... same injector another shop had replaced.

can anyone tell me if that code is something that can be re-flashed by a dealer, or and I SOL and need a new computer?

If the #7 isn't firing and it's been changed, I would be looking at the UVC harness or plug connection on that side. Requires removing the valve cover on pass side.

What problem is the P0605 code (ROM error) causing ? Did you have that code previously to changing the #7 ?

never did a diagnostic before the injector was changed, just the contribution test.

i've read that the chip may throw the ROM code, which makes sense. the truck ran beautiful when i first put the chip in, no engine light or anything.

I changed the ICP about 2 weeks ago, and i'm looking at the list and theres a bunch of ICP codes:

P1209 - ICP Peak fault
P1212 ICP voltage
P1211 ICP not controllable
P0605 ROM error
P1277 #7 cylinder open
P0475 Exaust pressure control valve malfunction
