4 quarts of atf, no power steering fluid.

Synthetic sometimes makes it quieter.

Get some 3/8 line and hook it to the output and run in it down into a bucket.

Jack the front of the truck up off the ground. Have someone pump the brakes and slowly turn the wheel stop to stop.

Keep filling the resevoir so air doesn't get in the system. Keep replacing fluid until it looks nice and red coming out.

It helps with noise and brake firmness. You should notice a much stiffer brake pedal.

Why would power steering effect brake system, school me please?

Hydro - boost brakes. Not vacuum boost like most gassers. Uses your power steering pump for power to the brake system.
