Power steering making clicking noise????

Just recently I have been hearing this clicking noise while turning the steering wheel left or right from a parked position. I have checked the fluid level and all is good. There are no leaks that I can see. Can't seem to figure this out, could someone help me with this? I can only hear the noise when I am parked and getting ready to move forward or reverse. Re: Power steering making clicking noise????

Do you have a level kit on the front? I had a similar noise when I would turn my wheel when going real slow. Turned out to be the top mounting bolt on the track bar that runs from the pasenger side of the axle to the frame on the drivers side.

When you put a level kit on you replace the stock bolt on this bar with a cam bolt supplied in the level kit, my cam bolt and bushing had rusted and ceased in place, that was what my clicking noise was.

Bad thing is I had to replace the entire track bar and find a cam-bolt like the level kit came with, that one ceased bushing cost me $88 in parts.

Re: Power steering making clicking noise????

Just got the X back from the brake shop and found out that it was the LF wheel hub bearing that went out. Also found out that the rear rotors were cracked just along the edge of the rotor where the brake pads end. But alot of good came out of this because now I have new brakes and rotors all around. I will get the RF hub changed soon also.
