RE: HELP! P1316 Injector Circuit / IDM Codes Detected

Hi,
My 2001 f250 check engine light is on. I changed the fuel filter and, that did not help. The truck runs rough, it acts like it's not getting fuel.

I pull the codes:

1. P0603 Internal Control Module KAM Error
2. P1316 Injector Circuit/IDM Codes Detected.

What do I need to do first?

first code is either disconnected batteries detected, or you have a chip.

First I would check the connections at the valvecovers. since thats easy, un plugh them inspect the pins and reinstall. test.

If this doesen't help you will need a GOOD scan tool and get the IDM codes by doing a buzz test or some other interactive test.

But those other codes will deffinately help.
