Rebuilt turbo with ats and wicked wheel

My turbo is starting to surg pretty bad was wondering how much a rebuilt turbo with a wicked wheel and ats housing already instaled would be? Also is the a stock turbo R&I a bolt on or are thier adjustments that need to be made?

my truck is 10,000#'s empty and with the DP tune, i had a really bad surge one some of the hills around town, granted i had a heavy foot too. i out the wicked wheel on, and i haven't been able to get the truck to surge once yet. I wouldn't do both, only in the worst case scenarios would you need them together, like towing heavy loads always in the hills and such.

and i wouldn't pay someone to do it, check out the video, you could do it yourself in 20 minutes.

When I had my 7.3, I had my turbo rebuilt and added the Wicked Wheel. I already had the ATS housing so they just rebuilt it with the added housing. The rebuildwith all new bushings etc cost me around $300. So the cost of the ATS is around $400 and the WW is $60. Most do not change out the wheel and leave it stock, the choice is up to you. If you install the ATS housing you will have no more surge. The WW will not gain you anything but a wicked whistle. I loved mine with the WW as I sounded like a 747 going down the road, but it didn't do anything for surge or power as the ATS housing will fix the surge issue by itself. Make sure the rebuild outfit is going to "cook" the old turbo to get out (burn) all of the old crud.
