Service engine light comes on

Trying to see if anyone had a similar problem or might know what is going.

The engine light will come on, RPM's drop and then the truck seems like its ging to stall. While the light is on the engine keeps running but when you push the gas there is hesitation and no "power" so to speak. The light will stay on for about 5 - 10 seconds then go off and everything is back to normal.

any ideas/thoughts

Thanks in advance

You should be getting codes stored in the PCM. For accurate information you will need the codes. Many things can cause symptoms like that although usually the SES light will remain on until the key is shut off. The codes will need to be retrieved by a scanner that is made for a superduty. Many of the generic scannerslike at autoparts stores will not retrieve the codes you have stored. If you have a friend with something like a Superchips tuner their tuner will read the codes. But otherwise you need to take it to a shop with a proffesional type scanner or find someone with an Autoenginuity scanner program on tgeir computer.

Do a search for under valve cover harness or UVCH. You may have a loose connection causing this. I would put a link but I'm using a phone for this.
