When I put my truck into 4low (ESOF, Auto Trans) it seems to slip between idle (800RPM) and about 1500RPM. Once it hits about 1500RPM it feels like it stops slipping and jerks forward. It makes it difficult to do low speed/low RPM driving such as backing my trailer up in 4low. I don't think it was doing this last year and it hasnt been driven much over the winter. I just changed the TC fluid today but these problems were there before and after the fluid change. I don't get the slipping in 4HI or 2WD just 4low. I don't know if it is possible for a transfer case to slip or not like this but that is what it feels like. Does anybody have any ideas?

Yes, it is normal for it to slip until it gets to about 1500 rpm. The transmission is programmed to do that because there isn't enough torque below 1500 rpm. I don't know about the jerk though once it engages. Mine engages smoothly once it engages.
