Re: SuperChips Diagnostic Codes

i am throwing a lot of codes relating to the ipr, where is this located at?? my symptom are as i am driving i lose fuel and power but will regain it intermittantly, yesterday the truck died and had to have it towed to my house where it restarted. today while driving i lost power quite a few times but regained it, however the truck died again and i had to have it towed... does this sound like the ipr????

Re: SuperChips Diagnostic Codes

Sounds more like a CPS to me. Could be an IPR. When a CPS goes, there is no telling what codes you will get, sometimes none.

Look here , for the CPS, and here for IPR rebuild.

To find the IPR, look on the back of the HPOP reservoir for the lightweight tin nut, that is where it is. If the nut is loose, that may be your only problem.

If you buy a CPS (you should keep a spare in the glove box), in a hurry, go to a local Ford house, $27.00, have time order from here. , less than $16.00 plus shipping.

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
