How does your trans fluid look/ smell? Does it smell burned or look brown? When is the last time you changed the fluid, filter and inline filter?

I havent looked at the fluid but it has been roughly 30K miles since filter and fluid change if I remember correctly. Could that affect my mileage that much?

Well it's kind of a starting point. If your fluid looks brown and smells burnt and the filter is plugged I would say yes it potentially could have a negative effect on fuel economy.

You don't happen to have one of those noisey TC? I've had a couple go bad and they would sound like marbles rolling around in a tin can. You have to really listen for it because of the engine noise.

I havent heard anything and I have tried to listen for it but i dont hear anything. Should I just replace the TC and if so should I go with a stock replacement or some mild aftermarket one? Thanks again for all the help.
