Transmission Problem

I have posted about this problem before but I have made some new observations. The tranny acts like a standard tranny where you startout with the clutch only 1/2 way ingaged then after you start moving you let the clutch out all the way. Then its fine for the rest of the shifts. This will not happen all the time. Often I can start out normally. Its not the Valve body.

Re: Transmission Problem

Don't mean to rob the thread but buddy says his truck does the exact same thing (well described by the way). Stealership said that they greased something and buddy said it was fine for a while but it started again. Does this make sense?

[/ QUOTE ] No this doesnt make sense, sounds like he had a thump or vibration and they lubed the center spline on the carrier bearing. The original problem sounded like tranny to me, or TC. Do not know why there were not more replys. But if you have a stock tranny and put a much better TC on it,,then the trans will probably fail, More torque getting to the trans.. just my opinion from what I have read on here...
