Truck just quit today

After searching the posts it sounds like I can add my truck (02 F350, CC, 62000 miles) to the list of trucks needing a new CPS. Was out today and had been driving for about a half hour and came to a stoplight and my truck shut off like someone turned off the key. Tried to restart and wouldn't fire so called AAA and had it towed to the dealer that I use for service. Wish I had read about this before hand since it sounds like an easy fix. I was going to have them do some service work on it anyway, hopefully the CPS is the problem and they don't charge me to much to do it.

Re: Truck just quit today

You should get fixed for the $100 deductible. The CPS is covered under the 5 yr/100k mile engine warranty.
