I need your experts opinion. This truck looks too clean. Almost like they are trying to hide something. Probably gonna go test drive it next week. What should I look for?
Check the oil, The coolant tank is extremely low on coolant in the picture. Also the inter-cooler pipes are not factory in the picture. The wear on the front tires is common with bad tie rod ends and ball joints. Just check it over very carefully. make sure to climb on top of the motor and look for leaks and fluid in the valley. The truck looks great!!

I don't care how clean that truck is...........$20k+ is WAYYY too much. The truck has 120k+ miles. My truck had 122k on it when I bought it, hadn't been in an accident, was a one-owner truck, and I paid $10k less than they're asking. I have seen trucks with under 50k miles sell for less than $20k.

I agree. Don't think 10k is a fair offer but somewhere in the 17-19 is what I see as reasonable.

Wish I could find a 7.3 Lariat 4x4 with 75k for under 20k. I would be all over it.

I was doing a half-hearted search for the past few years, then about Jan '08 I started searching seriously. I probably looked at 1000's of trucks online and Autotrader, etc. Actually test-drove or personally looked at a couple dozen before I bought the one I have. I looked at a lot of trucks, but was really only interested in the 6-speeds. There were some autos that I considered because of the deal and/or mileage, but ultimately decided against them for whatever reasons. There was a mint '02 Lariat F-350 that had everything I wanted including the 6-speed, with a little over 47k miles summer of '08. They were asking $21,500. The day I called, they had just sold it the day before for $19k.
